About The Role

The Marketing and Communications Department is looking for a Paid Customer Acquisition Manager. This role will work with the Senior Acquisition Marketing Manager to help deliver F1's global vision and grow the fans' uptake of our digital products and increase our digital revenue globally.  

Main Duties and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for acquiring new customers across digital channels in order to achieve targets across F1 commercial products (F1 TV, F1 Store, F1 Tickets, F1 Apps). This will include work in the following areas:

  • Work in collaboration with our 3rd party partners to maximise sales for F1 Tickets and the F1 store. Co-create the strategy, plans and manage the execution of the campaigns to reach sales targets.
  • Work closely with our media and creative agencies to develop the acquisition strategy for F1 TV and execute the campaigns. You will take ownership of tracking and reporting on campaigns and provide reporting and recommendations to achieve targets and grow our customer base.
  • Collaboration and cross channel campaign planning: build open, collaborative and accessible relationships with key partners, internal teams and agencies.
  • Budget management: manage and provide forecasts for the different products. Provide data driven recommendations to manage the P&L effectively and reach the commercial targets.
  • Measurement and reporting: provide on-going and ad-hoc reporting on the campaign to measure objectively what works and adjust work accordingly.
About You

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent. Degrees in a STEM / Business / Management / Accounting discipline will be preferred

Desirable Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in a business area will be advantageous

Essential Experience

  • Experience managing acquisition campaigns in a fast-paced environment
  • Successful track record in a similar role in a commercial sector
  • Experience in managing paid media campaigns from strategy to execution
  • P&L management and budget forecasting experience
  • Experience in managing global campaigns

Desirable Experience

  • Ideally, you will have experience in both managing campaigns via an agency and managing campaigns themselves
  • Experience from a sports or entertainment background

Essential Knowledge and Skills

  • Experience in managing main paid media channels: deep channel expertise in paid search, paid social, display, affiliation
  • Robust understanding of online acquisition models, planning and conversion management
  • Reporting: ability to analyse and report on campaign’s profitability and provide recommendations based on data to improve performance
  • Strong planning skills to deliver cross-channel global campaigns at speed
  • Ability to interact effectively and communicate with a wide range of people and personalities, including our global partners
  • Strong agency management skills to ensure we maximise revenue against spend, and deliver against KPIs
  • Good consideration for managing risk in a high paced delivery environment
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint

Desirable Knowledge and Skills

  • Fluent or native German speaker
  • Other language skills will be very useful in the role: Spanish, French, Dutch
