About The Role

We’re looking for a Broadcast Engineer to work within our dynamic and fast paced TV systems team.  Together with the team you will assist in the design and upgrade of Formula 1’s broadcast engineering infrastructure. With the opportunity to travel to Grand Prix events, you’ll rig, commission and de-rig the Technical Centre, the biggest mobile broadcast infrastructure of its kind!

You’ll provide expert engineering cover at multiple Formula 1 events, as well as being involved in the preparation of costings for exciting upgrades and projects happening within the team.

 TV Systems are responsible for distributing Formula 1's live and edited broadcast feeds to International Broadcasters across the world, achieving an annual audience of over 500 million viewers.

About You

You’re a logical-thinker and have a solid understanding of current broadcast technologies, operations and equipment, with a passion for Formula 1 and are flexible to work over race weekends.

You’ll have

  • Experience in broadcast engineering, sound systems and principles

  • Knowledge of HD-SDI and 3G-SDI broadcast standards

  • Proven ability of first line maintenance and file based work-flows

  • A working knowledge of AutoCAD would be an additional bonus!
